Binding - Once you’ve finished your quilt top and it’s been quilted, it’s time for the binding. Binding is normally the last step on the actual quilt construction. Sign up now and we’ll show you how to get those quilts all finished. We have a unique way of ending your binding and going around those corners!! You’re gonna love it...it works like magic! We’ll have a binding kit prepared for you. You’ll be able to take home your sample to help you remember future bindings that you will be applying to your finished quilted tops!!

Hand Applique - Have you always wanted to learn hand applique? Or is it that "A" word to you? I can’t tell you how many students that have given in and attended a class that learn to love it...it becomes their passion! Carol is an excellent instructor that will teach you the basics and get you started on a new project. Then it’s just practicing to get better and better. Let’s Get Started - This lecture and demo is designed for the beginner to learn the basics prior to their first quilting class. You will be shown how to rotary cut, use different types of rulers, learn the importance of the 1/4" seam when piecing your quilt, along with the different types of needles, threads, batting and quilt styles. No sewing machines required. Bring a notebook and pen... you’ll want to take notes!
