Fancy Flowers  by Jan Vaine
Jan is offering the "Fancy Flowers" Baltimore Album class January 14 - 17, 2010.
In this class, Jan takes you on a journey through a botanical garden of embroidery stitches and threads. You will plant seeds of embroidered stems, leaves, flowers, and berries, stitched in different mediums. The garden of stitches will include couching, rope stitch, fishbone stitch, ribbon roses, colonial knots, stump work, just to name a few. The garden of embroidered stitches growing in your sampler workbook will guide and inspire you as you pick elements to include in your own exquisite flower arrangement.
Nurture your workbook allowing it to grow and expand well after class as you continue to interpret and experiment with new techniques and mediums. It will blossom into an invaluable tool for embellishing your album blocks.
