Sew Simple Pineapple Blocks - Traditionally the pineapple block has been thought of as a very difficult one to piece - in fact, several books have been written and rulers developed especially for making this one block. Now, put all of that aside and with just a few squares of fabric, a quarter inch seam, a good sharp little pair of scissors and an iron and you will be making these blocks in no time. There will be no project as such, just the technique of making the block and then you can go on to making your own quilt or wall hanging.

Level 3 Quilting

Level 3 classes offered for those students that have successfully completed several quilts in both Level 1 & 2 and for those experienced students that are wanting more of a challenge!
Day and Night - At first glance, Day and Night looks like a pattern for an advanced quilter but with Faye’s guiding hand you will see how easy it really is! The magic is that it is strip pieced! From strips pieced together, triangles are cut with an acrylic ruler that is included in the book. Quarter blocks are stitched together to make larger blocks making the starry pattern. On a closer look you will even see pinwheels!! Just two colors make this one truly special. 4 week class !!

Seven Sisters Simplified aka Seven Simple Sisters - Seven sisters is a well-loved, but seldom made quilt pattern. Marti Michell hopes to change that with her simplified version that has completely eliminated set-in seams. She has simply replaced the six diamonds in each star and their set-in seams with one large and three small triangles and all edge to edge stitching! We will be using Template set H and the 60 degree triangle ruler. As always, we will first cut strips of fabric then using the templates with their specially-engineered corners we will rotary cut the desired shapes. Make this one just two colors or very scrappy.

Imagine the quilt in pastels or brights. Join us and let’s get to work!
