New Policy - When enrolling into a Block-of-the-month club, you are agreeing to purchase the entire program. We will ask that you provide us with a credit card number to keep on file. If blocks are not picked up in a timely manner, your card will be charged for the block(s) and shipping at which time they will be mailed to you. If you are an out-of-town participant, we will auto mail them to you each month.
Shipping charges are in addition to the month block fee.

This gorgeous block of the month is dynamic and a great size 100“ x 112“! The fabric is from Marcus Brothers and designed by Judie Rothermel. It’s a special 150-year Commemoration of the American Civil War in 2011. The patterns were designed by Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith of Homestead Hearth. Each month you will receive the fabrics for your block(s). We are scheduling mini-sessions on Saturday. Carolyn will answer any questions that you may have on a particular block or technique. This new pattern from Lori Smith is made using all hand dyed wools from Primitive Gathering and appliqued to cotton backgrounds. We will be starting this quilt NOW - this January!! This is a 15 month program. The quilt measures 45” x 58”, with the smaller blocks being 9 ¼” and the center block at 18 ½”. You will buy your pattern up front ($14.00) and then purchase your wool monthly at $15.00. If you live outside of the Jacksonville area and would like us to mail your blocks to you, we’ll keep a credit card on file for you.

This is coming up for our second quarter of 2010. We’re giving you a sneak peak so you can sign up early. This will give us the opportunity to have your wool blocks and patterns pre-ordered! Isn’t this block of the month adorable and so easy!!! The sample we have been working on has our wool pieces stitched on dark fabric. Would you rather have it light and more on the traditional side? If so… change your
background - you’ll purchase your background fabric yourself. You can machine applique, hand button-hole applique or a new method - hand applique/whip stitch - I love it… so much faster !
