Binding
This class will show you one way on how to finish your quilt...the last step...applying the binding. There are many different ways to bind your quilt. The method we teach is fast, easy, and the most used. Please bring the following with you to class:
Sewing machine - don't forget your pedal!! Please be familiar on how to thread and run your sewing machine.
Walking foot
Thread - any color will work
Rotary Cutting Supplies: 6 1/2" x 12 1/2" ruler is sufficient
Rotary Cutter with good-sharp blade
Cutting mat - 18 x 24
Needle (sharps, milliners, or straws)
Seam Ripper
Scissors
Pins or binding clips (purchase at OGC)
We will supply you with a kit that will contain quilted fabric and fabric for your binding.
