Let's PLAY on our FEATHERWEIGHTS!

HEY TO ALL!!!

Do you have a featherweight sewing machine (Singer)?  Do you know of a friend that owns one?  How long has it been since you've sewn on your machine??? Is it sitting at the back of your closet?  When was the last time you oiled, cleaned or greased your machine?  uh huh... just as I thought... you don't want to admit how long do you?

Well.. now is the time to dig it out, dust it off and get you and your little machine into Cinnamon's Quilt Shop this Sunday (June 5) from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Our "Featherweight Club" has a great time together... working on our own projects.... listening to the 'hhhhhuuummmmmm' of these sweet little machines as they all stitch together!  It's such a good time seeing what everyone is making!

Now.. if it's been some time since you've oiled, cleaned, greased, threaded this little fellow.. don't panic!  That's why I'm there with you.  We'll get them all "prettied up" and you'll be wanting to sew on it more and more!   So.. find that one project you've been just itching to get started... bring it with you and we'll all be a stitchin' together before you know it.  PLUS....

I'm going to show you all how to make an "infinity scarf" from a t-shirt!!!

Yes.... from a t-shirt!  So... here's what you need to bring... find a t-shirt that you LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... it should be an X-Large (or larger) in any color or pattern that strikes your fancy... it can be a man's or woman's t-shirt... preferably one that is either plain or has a pretty cool pattern on it.  One with words will work... but YOU WILL NOT be able to read the words once we have it finished.  You can bring a rotary cutter, 24" long ruler and mat 18" x 24" is good... or... just an extra sharp pair of scissors!    In less than 10 minutes our scarf will be finished!  They are VERY cool!!!

Then... don't forget to bring your lunch... and maybe a snack... and your current project you are working on!  See you at 10:00 am... I'll have the coffee brewing!!!

See you soon!
